2 semanas depois…
"parece que não tem ninguém aqui" sussurrei ao ver o ginásio da escola completamente vazio.
Então,peguei uma bola de futebol,e comecei a fazer embaixadinhas.
"Você joga bem. Devia fazer o teste pra entrar pro time da escola."
Me virei pra trás,e vi que,quem estava ali,era ninguém mais,ninguém menos que o Jake.
Stella 2-ei,como você sabia que eu estava aqui?
Jake-fácil,te segui.
Stella 2-posso saber por que o Sr. Me seguiu?
Jake-Não tenho nada melhor pra fazer hoje.

So I picked up a soccer ball and started kicking it around .
"You play well. You Should do the test to enter the school team."
I turned back and saw that whoever was there was no one else, none other than Jake.
Stella 2-hey, how did you know I was here?
Jake-easy, I followed you.
Stella 2-Can I know why you followed me?
Jake-I have nothing better to do today.
Stella 2-only forgive you because otherwise, will not have anyone to do my homework before class anymore .And,no.
Jake-No what?
Stella 2-I will not do the test to enter the soccer team.

4 dias depois...
Stella 2 POV
"5 minutos pra subir no palco pessoal!" ouvi Mo dizendo ao longe.
Olivia-nervosa?
Stella-muito.
Olivia-Eu sei como dá medo.Da primeira vez que eu subi no palco com a banda,eu quase vomitei.
Stella-acho que você não ajudou muito,Olivia.
Wen-o que ela quer dizer,é que,é tudo que nem nos ensaios,só que,com platéia. é só ficar calma!
Stella 2-valeu pessoal!
Mo-gente,acho que é nossa vez.
Stella-vai dar tudo certo,pode confiar.
Nós subimos no palco,e então eu vi,tipo,umas 120 pessoas perto do palco.Não sei por que,mas,ao invés de ficar nervosa,aquilo me deixou mais animada do que nunca. E então,Wen começou a tocar o teclado,dando ínicio a música "Breaktrough". Passaram-se 11 segundos,e então,quando Olivia cantou a primeira frase da música,era a nossa deixa pra começar a tocar.

Olivia-I know how is it .in the first time I went on stage with the band, I almost threw up.
Stella-guess you did not help much, Olivia.
Wen-what she means, is that, is just like the rehearsals. , but with the audience. just stay calm!
Stella 2-thanks guys!
Mo-Guys, I think it's our turn.
Stella-will be all right,Be calm.
We go on stage, and then I saw, like, 120 people near the stage.didn't know why, but instead of getting nervous, it made me more excited than ever. And then, Wen began playing the keyboard, giving beginning the song "Breakthrough". It took 11 seconds, and then when Olivia sang the first phrase of the song, it was our cue to start playing.

A nova integrante-capitulo 9 / The new girl in the band chapter 9
Stella POV
Ray- já vi que você tem o mesmo gênio da sua priminha né? -disse Ray,devolvendo o empurrão a ela-
Aquilo me irritou ao extremo. O Ray simplesmente ama briga e confusão. E,agora,eu finalmente tinha entendido por que minha prima tinha conseguido ser expulsa de 2 escolas em 1 ano. Ela foi pra cima do Ray. Mesmo que ele fosse 2 vezes maior que ela,ela nem se importou. Chutou a canela dele,e ainda desviou de um soco. Ela logo tentou socar ele,mas,Ray segurou o punho dela com força,e soltou depois de ter certeza que tinha machucado sua mão.
Stella-você já foi longe demais Ray! Olha aí o que você fez!
Ray-a culpa não é minha se a tampinha aí é tão esquentadinha quanto você!
Stella-você é um idiota! -eu disse dando um pisão forte no pé dele-
E foi bem na hora errada. Quando a professora estava entrando na sala.
Professora-o que significa isso?

Professora- vocês duas,já para a diretoria! -disse a professora de inglês apontando pra porta-
Saímos,e fomos andando até a metade do corredor em silencio.
Stella 2- desculpa por ter te arrumado problemas. Não era a minha intenção.
Stella-não esquenta. No máximo,a gente vai ganhar uma detenção.E,eu Não tenho nem um pouquinho de medo do Brenigan. A propósito,belo soco.
Stella 2-valeu,Stella.
Entramos na sala do Brenigan. E lá estava ele. Nos encarando,com uma cara mais feia do que o normal.
Brenigan-muito bonito.Na diretoria no primeiro dia de aula,Jones? E, você Yamada,já é sua 3ª vez aqui na semana. As duas acabaram de ganhar 1 hora na detenção!
Assim como nós entramos,saímos:em silencio completo,pra não piorar a situação.

That pissed me off so much. Ray just loves making everyone getting into trouble. And now, I had finally understood why my cousin had managed to be kicked out of 2 schools in 1 year. Aquilo me irritou ao extremo. O Ray simplesmente ama briga e confusão. E,agora,eu finalmente tinha entendido por que minha prima tinha conseguido ser expulsa de 2 escolas em 1 ano. Ela foi pra cima do Ray. Mesmo que ele fosse 2 vezes maior que ela,ela nem se importou. Chutou a canela dele,e ainda desviou de um soco. Ela logo tentou socar ele,mas,Ray segurou o punho dela com força,e soltou depois de ter certeza que tinha machucado sua mão.
Stella-você já foi longe demais Ray! Olha aí o que você fez!
Ray-a culpa não é minha se a tampinha aí é tão esquentadinha quanto você!
Stella-você é um idiota! -eu disse dando um pisão forte no pé dele-
E foi bem na hora errada. Quando a professora estava entrando na sala.

Logo que o recreio acabou,fomos até a sala da Mrs. Reznik,guardamos nossos instrumentos lá,e seguimos para as nossas salas de aula.
Stella-meu próximo horário é Inglês.
Olivia-o meu é química.
Wen-o meu é história.
Charlie-o meu é física.
Mo-o meu é geografia.
Stella 2-o meu é inglês também!
Stella-parece que você deu sorte baixinha,vamos ter uma aula juntas!
Olivia-boa aula pra vocês galera!
Eu e Stella seguimos para a sala de aula,e sentamos ao lado uma da outra. Não demorou muito,e o Jake apareceu e sentou na minha frente.
Jake-espero não ter te causado problemas pelo atraso por seu ensaio.
Stella 2-que nada,não foi culpa sua. Fui eu que não prestei atenção. Ahh,a propósito,Stella,esse é o amigo de quem eu falei,o Jake.
Stella-e aí? -disse Stella apertando a mão do Jake.-
Logo notei,que minha prima mudou um pouco de humor ao ver um garoto loiro,de olhos azuis,e com um topete ridículo entrar na sala. Ele parecia ser bem antipático. Tirava onda com todo mundo,e estava usando uma camisa do time de futebol da escola,com o número 10,e o sobrenome "Beech" escrito atrás.
Stella 2-ok,quem é esse cara,e porque ele te deixa tão nervosa?
Stella-esse é o Ray,o chato de quem eu te falei. Ele tem o dom de me irritar.
Jake-sua prima aí tá certa. Eu conheço ele. Sou do time de futebol também. Ele o capitão,e é muito marrento e chato. Eu evito ao máximo falar com ele.
A professora então,entrou na sala,e aula ia correndo bem,até que,o tal Ray começou a encher a paciência da Stella,e a minha também. Ele estava jogando bolinhas de papel na gente.
Professora- vou pegar o livro que esqueci na sala dos professores. Comportem-se turma!
E essa foi a deixa,pra que o garoto irritante viesse encher a paciência ainda mais.
Ray-e então,como vai Yamada?
Stella-será que você não consegue deixar de ser chato?
Ray- -Ray riu ironicamente- acho que não.
Stella-Oi,será que você pode parar de jogar bolinhas de papel na gente?
Ray-ficou nervosa,foi tampinha? E quem é você afinal?
Stella 2- sou a nova guitarrista da Lemonade Mouth,e prima da Stella.
Ray- Ahh,mais uma da família Yamada… Isso vai ser muito divertido.
Stella-Ray,deixa deixa a gente em paz! A menos que você queira levar um soco !
Ray-e se eu não quiser deixar vocês em paz? O que você vai fazer Yamada?

Once the rehearsal was over, we went to the room of Mrs. Reznik, keep our instruments there, and we went to our classrooms.
Stella-My next class is English.
Olivia- mine my chemistry.
Wen- history .
Charlie-mine is physics.
Mo-mine is geography.
Stella-2 mine is english too!
Stella-it looks like you are lucky shorty , we have a class together!
Olivia-good class for you guys!
Stella and I headed for the classroom, and sat next to each other. Did not take long, and Jake came and sat in front of me.
Jake-I hope I have not caused you problems for getting you late for your reahearsal.
Stella 2-Don't worry, it was not your fault. I did not pay attention to the time.My fault. Ahh, by the way, Stella, this is the friend I told you, Jake.
Stella-what's up? -Stella said, shaking hands with Jake. -
I soon realized that my cousin changed got a little bit angry to see a blond boy with blue eyes, entering the room. He seemed to be very unsympathetic. Making jokes about everyone, and was wearing a jersey from the school soccer's team with a number 10, and the name "Beech" written on the back.
Stella 2-ok, who is this guy, and why he makes you so nervous?
Stella-that's Ray, the annoying boy of whom I told you. He has the gift to annoy me.
Jake-your cousinis right . I know it. I'm on the soccer team too. He is the captain, and is always annoyed with everything we do. I avoid talking to him the most.
The teacher then entered the room, and class was going well, until Ray began pestering Stella, and me. He was throwing paper balls at us.
teacher-i will pick up the book that I forgot in the staff room. Behave class!
And that was the cue, to the annoying kid came pestering even more.
Ray-how are you doing today, Yamada?
Stella- can you please stop being so annoying
Ray- -Ray laughed - think not.
Stella 2-Hi, can you stop throwing paper balls at us?
Ray-are you nervous, bottle cap? And who are you anyway?
Stella 2 - I am the new guitarist of Lemonade Mouth, Stella's cousin.
Ray-Ahh, another girl from Yamada's family ... This will be fun.
Stella-Ray, leave us alone! Unless you want to get punched!
Ray-and if I do not want to leave you alone? What will you do Yamada?

Wen-onde se enfiou a miniatura da Stella?
Olivia-era exatamente isso que eu também gostaria de saber!
Stella-vocês não olhem pra mim! Eu avisei pra ela que a gente estaria aqui na hora do recreio!
Charlie- Essa é uma apresentação muito importante,e esse ensaio é o último antes da nós subirmos no palco amanha. Se ela faltar o ensaio,estamos perdidos!
Mo-fora que,essa vai ser a primeira apresentação dela com a gente! tudo tem que sair tipo,perfeito,ou já era.
Stella 2-Opa! falando de mim?
Todos nos viramos para trás,e vimos a Stella entrar correndo pela porta.
Stella 2-desculpem o atraso! é que,eu conheci um garoto e,nós começamos a conversar,e eu meio que perdi a noção do tempo. Espero que ainda dê tempo da gente ensaiar.
Olivia-sem problemas,mas,da próxima vez,preste mais atenção!

Stella-nós vamos tocar breaktrough na apresentação.

Entrei na sala,e logo sentei em uma cadeira lá no fundão da sala. Não conheço ninguém nessa escola além da Stella,Charlie,Olivia,Mo e Wen! Ótimo. O jeito,é ficar aqui na minha,até a aula começar. Pouco depois que eu cheguei,veio um garoto e sentou do meu lado.
Jake-mochila legal! -disse o garoto apontando pra minha mochila com o desenho de uma bola de futebol-
Stella 2-Obrigada...
Jake-então.. Os novatos costumam se sentar lá na frente...
Stella 2-é,eu não, Sentar no fundo,é o melhor jeito de conhecer outros encrenqueiros como eu.
Jake-Bem,eu não sou muito encrenqueiro,mas podemos ser amigos se você quiser. Meu nome é Jake!
Stella 2-Meu nome é Stella. Prazer em te conhecer! Já vi que você curte futebol também né?
Jake-Sim,muito. Inclusive,sou do time da escola.

Entered the classroom, and then I sat in a chair in the back of the room. Do not know anyone in this school apart from Stella, Charlie, Olivia, Mo and Wen! Great. The only thing i can do is stay here quiet, until the class begins. Shortly after I arrived, a boy came and sat beside me.
Jake-cool backpack! -said the boy pointing to my backpack with drawing of a soccer ball-
Stella 2-Thanks ...
Jake-so .. Newcomers usually sit there in front ...
Stella-2 yeah, I don't. Sitting in the background, is the best way to meet other troublemakers like me.
Jake-Well, I'm not a troublemaker, but we can be friends if you want. My name is Jake!
Stella 2-My name is Stella. Nice to meet you! I see that you enjoy football too right?
Jake-Yes, very much. i'm the the school team.
Stella 2-Do you have a soccer team here? I always thought that in schools here in the United States only had teams of American Football not Soccer .
Jake- Wait, you're not from here?
Stella 2-No, I'm from Brazil. Came here, to live with my cousin for a while, because, you know, I've been kicked out of two schools this year.
Jake-Well, if you can finish the day without being suspended, I think I can try to be a good influence on you!

Entered the classroom, and then I sat in a chair in the back of the room. Do not know anyone in this school apart from Stella, Charlie, Olivia, Mo and Wen! Great. The only thing i can do is stay here quiet, until the class begins. Shortly after I arrived, a boy came and sat beside me.
Jake-cool backpack! -said the boy pointing to my backpack with drawing of a soccer ball-
Stella 2-Thanks ...
Jake-so .. Newcomers usually sit there in front ...
Stella-2 yeah, I don't. Sitting in the background, is the best way to meet other troublemakers like me.
Jake-Well, I'm not a troublemaker, but we can be friends if you want. My name is Jake!
Stella 2-My name is Stella. Nice to meet you! I see that you enjoy football too right?
Jake-Yes, very much. i'm the the school team.
Stella 2-Do you have a soccer team here? I always thought that in schools here in the United States only had teams of American Football not Soccer .
Jake- Wait, you're not from here?
Stella 2-No, I'm from Brazil. Came here, to live with my cousin for a while, because, you know, I've been kicked out of two schools this year.
Jake-Well, if you can finish the day without being suspended, I think I can try to be a good influence on you!

Ouço meu despertador tocar: 6:30 da manhã.
Stella 2-Só mais 5 minutinhos não vai fazer mal pra ninguém....
Stella-Nada disso! pode ir acordando aí! Hoje é seu primeiro dia de aula,deixa de preguiça!
Stella 2 -falou a que ontem tava com preguiça de andar meio metro ora pegar o controle da televisão né?
Stella-É melhor você não se atrasar,porque senão....
Stella 2-senão o que? O Bicho Papão me engole?
Stella- Ha Ha Ha. Faz piadinha mesmo!
Stella 2-Fala logo,senão o que?
Stella-Pode até não parecer,mas,minha mãe é muito brava! Se você atrasar,tá ferrada!
Stella 2-Tá bom,nervosinha,levantei,pode ficar calma agora!
Mesa High School. Li na porta da escola.

Stella 2-Acho que não. -disse fazendo cara feia-
Stella-Calma,que vai dar tudo certo.O pior que pode acontecer,é você acabar indo parar na detenção.Mas,não se preocupa,porque eu tô sempre por lá. E,também,eu,o Charlie,o Wen,a Mo e a Olivia sempre vamos estar lá pra te ajudar.
Stella 2-Mas,eu estou uma série abaixo de vocês! E não conheço ninguém...
Stella-Logo logo você faz uma amigos,não se preocupa! Mas,não se esqueça: tente ficar longe d encrenca com o Ray. É furada,e perda de tempo. E,não se esqueça: no intervalo,nos encontramos na sala da detenção,lá no porão da escola.

Antes que eu pudesse dar um passo em direção as salas de aula,ouvi Stella gritando:

Stella-Ha Ha Ha. very funny !
Stella 2-c'mon , otherwise what?
Stella-mom is gonna be angry,andyou're gonna be grounded !
Stella 2-Okay, i woke up,you can calm down now!

Stella-Take it easy, everything will be alright.The worst that can happen is you end up going to detention.But , do not worry, because I'm always there. And also, me, Charlie, Wen, Mo and Oliviawill always be there to help you.

Stella-E Aí,tá feliz?
Stella 2-mais do que feliz!
Wen-precisamos de mais do que felicidade pra tocar bem na próxima apresentação,então é bom dar duro nos ensaios,ok?
Stella 2-apresentação? Mas já? Quando vai ser isso?
Stella-ei novata! 1 pergunta por vez! -disse rindo-
Mo-acostume-se. Sua prima é mesmo assim. Acho que se não fosse guitarrista,seria comediante!
Stella-Qual é Mo! Admita,eu sou a pessoas mais engraçada que vocês conhecem!
Charlie-além de muito modesta né? -Charlie riu-
Olivia-A nossa próxima apresentação vai ser sexta-feira,lá na escola,na hora do intervalo. Nada muito grande,mas mesmo assim é importante,porque,tem uma galera que é de uma gravadora,que vem assistir.
Wen-ou seja,se mandarmos bem,estamos dentro…
Stella-se mandarmos mal… tchauzinho!
Stella 2-olha,tô me sentindo bem menos pressionada agora hein!
Wen-aí galera,agora a gente só tem mais um problema a resolver!

Wen-como vamos fazer pra diferenciar a Stella da prima dela?

Olivia-se liga Charlie! Ele estava falando do nome! É que,as 2 se chamam Stella!
Mo-eu acho que,temos que dar um apelido pra ela! Assim ficaria menos confuso.

Wen-o que vocês acham de,Stellinha? Sei lá,combina com ela,sabem,porque ela é baixinha,e tal.

Mo-get used to it. Your cousin is always ''funny'' like that. I think if she were nota guitarist, she would be a comedian !
Stella-C'mon, Mo! Admit it, I'm the funniest person you know!
Charlie-plus very modest right? -Charlie laughed
Olivia- Our next presentation will be Friday, at school, at break time. Nothing too big, but it's still important because some people from, a record company will come to watch.
Wen-ie, if we do everything right,we have a chance ...

Stella-Aqui é a casa do Charlie,vamos ensaiar aqui hoje.
Charlie apareceu,e abriu a porta,e eu e minha prima entramos.
Stella-fala pessoal! Sabem,eu acho,que vocês deviam fazer uma estátua em minha homenagem!
Olivia-a gente aqui,cheios de problemas pra resolver,e você quer uma estátua sua?
Mo-É...Geralmente é o Charlie que fala coisas sem sentido fora de hora!
Charlie-Ei!
Stella-Bem,eu acho que eu merecia uma estátua. Porque,além de ser uma amiga nota 10,eu consegui uma outra guitarrista pra banda!
Mo-Quem é?
Stella então se virou,e apontou pra mim.Eu meio sem graça,acenei pra todo mundo,com a maior vergonha.
Wen-tá de brincadeira né Stella?
Stella-Na verdade... Não.
Charlie-só por curiosidade...quem é ela?
Stella 2-Eu sou prima da amiga nota 10 aí -olhei pra Stella rindo- e acho que foi tipo um elogio quando ela disse que toco quase tão bem quanto ela.
Wen-se a Stella disse isso... É bom acreditar,porque... Ela nunca diz isso pra ninguém!
Enquanto o pessoal discutia,peguei a guitarra da Stella,e comecei a tocar Determinate. Antes que eu percebesse,Charlie começou a me acompanhar com a bateria,Wen com o teclado e Mo com o baixo.
Stella-e aí,o que vocês acham agora?
Wen-olha,tenho que admitir... Ela é muito boa!
Mo-então isso significa...
Olivia-Bem-vinda a banda!
Stella-Tá,mas,e aí?
Charlie-não ouviu Stella? Ela tá na banda!
Stella-não,mas,e a minha estátua?

Charlie appeared, and opened the door, and my cousin and I walked in.
Stella-what's up guys ! You know, I think that you should make a statue in my honor!
Olivia- us here, full of problems to solve, and you want a statue?
Mo-It's Charlie ... Generally speaking nonsense out of time!
Charlie-Hey!
Stella-Well, I think I deserve a statue. Because in addition to being the best friend ever , I got another guitarist for the band!
Mo-Who is?
Stella then turned and pointed at me.Then,I awkwardly, waved to everyone, with the greatest shame.
Wen-you're kidding right Stella?
Stella Actually ... No.
Charlie- just curious ... who is she?
Stella 2-I am the Best Friend's ever cousin-I looked at Stella laughing-and I think it was like a compliment when she said that I play almost as well as she.
Wen- If Stella said that ... It's good to believe, because ... She would never say that to anyone!
While everyone was discussing , I grabbed the guitar and started playing Determinate. Before I realized it, Charlie began to follow me with the drums, Wenwith the Keyboard and Mo with the bass.
Stella-and then, what do you think now?
Wen-look, I must admit ... She is very good!
Mo-so that means ...
Olivia Welcome to the band!
Stella-Yeah, but, so what?
Charlie- Stella,not heard? She's in the band!
Stella-not, but, and my statue?
